This time when I visited my village Leelki, I learnt something new. In the world of fitness, we are told to minimize wheat and avoid eating this or that. However, the people of the village eat everything including ghee. They don’t restrict anything in their diet and yet they remain healthy.
I realized that they walk a lot. In a village, when you have to visit someone, you don’t use your bike or even bicycle. You simply walk to the person’s house. If you have to go to your field or run an errand, you have no mode of transport except walking.
The people of the village don’t sleep much in the afternoon. They eat a heavy brunch in the morning and then have dinner at about 7 pm. They have tea in the afternoon. They sleep at about 9 pm and wake up at the dawn. They don’t spend hours building their bodies or training in the gym, yet they can do the toughest jobs with ease.
What does that mean? Simply that if you have an active lifestyle where you are on your feet most of the time, you won’t have to worry about weightloss!
