Is it important to eat tasteless things to lose weight? Must I torture myself every day? Or is there a plan which can give me a diet and keep me happy too?

I know..I know what you guys are going to say. One needa to give up certain foods for weight loss. Some of you might say that you eed to remain hungry to lose weight. However, I done believe either of these statements work.
A diet or even a fasting plan doesn’t work all the time. Was early man on a diet ? We aren’t meant to go on a diet…that was not the nature’s plan. We are meant to eat foods by the season. So whatever grows in that season is what we are supposed to eat.
But then what about the weight loss? I am re reading Louise Hay and there is one thing thatI have understood. Weight gain in most cases is a sign of inner unfulfillment. We eat because we want to fill up that empty space inside us. We eat to fill up that loneliness, that yearning which craves to be released. So will diets do that? No!
Thats the reason diets dont work for long. They initially allow us to lose weight physically but do nothing for our psyche or inner self. We diet but we feel miserable inside because we now can no longer take solace in food nor can we fulfill that yearning. The end result? Even more frustration!
So, how about forgetting dieting for a while and just being happy for a while? Not just smilijg happy but trully happy from within? How about just living life with enthusiasm and paying attention to filling that inner space with joy? How about eating something not to fill up the void but to really experience the taste, smell and wonder of a creation?
