Tasty Food for Fat Loss

Dal and steel cut oats khichdi

Who says you cannot eat tasty food when losing weight? Who says you cannot indulge your senses when you eat food? I believe as long as you eat the right food and not add excess sugar, artificial ingredients or flavours or carbohydrates or fats to it, you are on the right path.

Now take my case for instance. I have been on a diet of steel cut oats and dal (for lunch) since the last two months (with a few cheat meals). The idea seems boring to an onlooker but not to me because I ensure that my meal is not just healthy but tasty too. I add natural taste enhancers like lemon juice, green and red pepper oil free chutney and sometimes red chilly flakes. I sometimes use green coriander or mint chutney to completely change the taste at times.

Remember if your food is not tasty enough, then you will most likely exit the diet plan. We cannot sustain something we are not happy doing and trust me good taste plays an important role! I will be sharing some recipes soon!
