Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent Fasting

I have been on intermittent fasting since 23 November 2020. Earlier, I used to feel hungry amd wonder what I have gotten myself into. This was especially because I wasn’t allowed to eat anything except the prescribed diet.

Generally people think of fasting as a precursor to feasting. But intermittent fasting is not that. You fast and eat only what is required in the eight hour window. Fast foods no longer appealed to me. I starting spicing up my food with lemons, sometimes onions and herbs.

My body seems to have gotten used to the idea. I still get hunger pangs but now I drink a special tea of Basil and some other herbs and spices. It feels good! But before you try any kind of fasting, do remember to consult your doctor!
