Why are thin models mostly used to advertise anything unhealthy?

Thin models, unhealthy food

Have you ever wondered why rake thin models are used in all most all kinds of advertisements, whether gym or unhealthy foods or sweets? They are shown slurping on heavy doses of icecreams, cakes, pastries, eating heavy fried foods etc.

Well, you can call it well crafted ploy to ensnare unsuspecting customers. We all like to imagine ourselves in perfect shape. We idolize these people who look healthy and beautiful ( our mind ignores the loads of makeup). So, when we look at them gyming or eating unhealthy foods, our mind interprets that visual in a very different way. It makes us believe that if we eat these foods, we will also become like them.

This ploy has been used to trick people since centuries! Don’t you think?
