Resistance to fatloss

When I first started on this journey, I didn’t like the idea at all! Why diet? Why weights? Why not plain cardio? Weights could injure me, the diet was bland. The smoothies that I had to drink were also not acceptable. You know the paradox? I had come here to lose weight.

My mind was not open about eating this diet. The second day, I threw up! There was nothing wrong in the diet but my mind did not want this weight loss. Sometimes, we ourselves stand in our own way. Many a times, we sabotage our own efforts just to prove a point.

I had to talk myself out of it. When it is about health, you have to give up taste and variety. Food then becomes a source of nutrition not entertainment.
