Why do people like exercise?

My love hate relationship with exercise

I have a very strange relationship with exercise. Sometimes I love it and sometimes I hate it. Yesterday, when I went to the gym, I had to lift weights. The weights were heavy. It took a lot of pain and effort to lift them.

I see men and some women lifting weights. The pain that they experience in lifting up the weight is quite evident from their grimaces. Yet they do it every day. The result is obviously worth it otherwise they would not have been doing it.

But sometimes, I wonder why should some of the forms of exercise be so painful? What makes people bear such a lot of pain. The compliments they recieve? The clothes they are able to wear? Their ability to be able to do things? What is it that makes people go through so much of pain and eat such bland food day in and day out?

I like to exercise because I just want to lose the fat. I am not looking at a chiselled, supermodel body. I am just looking for a body that allows me to live a healthy life. What about you? Why do you like exercising? Do let me know in the comments section!
